Project at a Glance

The Client's Need

A plastic factory runs on a steady supply of raw material, delivered in many bags and lots that must be stored in order and reached quickly by the production team. The client needed far more storage locations without moving to a bigger warehouse.

A single level of racking would have left the upper height of the building unused, so the answer was a second working level.

Our Solution

We installed multi tier racking: strong pallet racking frames carry a walkway deck made of our heavy-duty GI grating, so staff walk, store and pick on the upper level just as on the ground floor. The slotted grating lets light and air pass through, so the lower aisles stay bright and ventilated.

Orange beams mark every level clearly, and the walkways line up with the aisles below, so material moves in and out in order and safely.
