- Beams: no bending, no cracked welds at the connectors and all hooks present.
- Safety pins: replaced where missing.
- Compatibility: frames and beams from the same system so the connectors fit and carry their rated load.
- Finish: surface rust can be treated; deep corrosion means the part is rejected.
