The Client's Need

An engine oil factory stores heavy cartons, pails and pallets of finished oil, plus packaging. The client needed high, strong pallet storage across a large warehouse and a budget that made sense for a big area.

Loose cartons and smaller packs also needed a solid surface on the racks, so goods do not fall between the beams.

Our Solution

We supplied quality used pallet racking from our own stock, all in full condition and no more than one year old, and fitted steel wire mesh decks on the beam levels. Wire mesh gives a strong, open surface: it holds cartons and pails safely, lets sprinkler water and light pass through, and keeps the racks easy to inspect.

The racks run in long double-sided rows to make the most of the building height, with wide aisles for forklifts.
